Virginia and I invite you to join our exciting new Family & Friends Group Ownership opportunity in our Clevedon bred Turn Me Loose – Sanzera gelding. His stable name is Gideon, his personality traits align with the legendary calmness, strength and intelligence of this biblical figure!
We’re offering 6 x 10% shares at a very attractive price, (2 already sold). Average monthly costs are $375 per 10% share.
He will be raced here in NZ; We will retain 40% and manage his 5–7-year racing career for everyone and share with owners many fabulous moments throughout his journey.

Sanzera (Dam to Gideon & Dubious Express) herself won twice in Brisbane before being retired with a hot tendon. We brought her home to our Clevedon property to breed from.

THE STORY SO FAR
Gideon has been in the outstanding care of Haunui Farm in Karaka. He had his first breaking in semester at Lilywhites Lodge in Clevedon 3-months ago, where he impressed with his work appetite, ability, fluid action and calm demeanour. He has all the right attributes!
He’s been gelded to focus 100% on racing and is now back at Lilywhites completing his final 8-week education and race preparation. He’ll then return home to our Clevedon property for 6-months to grow further before heading to the stables.
We are covering the full cost of his final education and gelding. Joining now you won't begin contributing to operating expenses until 1st of October.
Most horses are syndicated as yearlings; owners would already have shared in approximately $45,000 of education and development costs up to now. You'll buy into a professionally educated, gelded, stable-ready horse, avoiding all those earlier costs.
He will be placed with one of New Zealand's leading trainers. The owners will all be involved in that decision before he goes to the stables for his first racing preparation around February/March 2027.

Collectively notching up 19 Wins – 24 x 2nd placings – 14 x 3rd placings since late 2024.
A record number of wins/placings to a number of horses racing.... that few could match!

There will be a maximum of just seven like-minded owners in Gideon’s group. We want it to be personal, social and fun – sharing stable visits, race days, updates and hopefully plenty of memorable moments along the way.
And with Virginia and I retaining 40%, this is very much our journey too.
