Triskelion continues to build momentum, producing another strong run with a fast-finishing third in Race 6 – the PHLAT Constructions Ratings Band 0–58 Handicap at Aquis Park Gold Coast on Saturday, 15 November 2025.
Jumping from a wide barrier, Triskelion settled in sixth place, sitting six lengths off the leaders early in the race. But once in the clear, he found his rhythm and launched a determined late charge - taking two lengths off the winner in the final 100 metres. Another 100m, and he may well have run them down.
Trainer Paul Shailer was very happy with the run, noting that Triskelion pulled up well, enjoyed his cold shower, ate up, and remains a happy, healthy horse.
“He’s thriving in the sprinting environment, and with a bit more luck in the barrier draw, he’ll be very hard to beat next time out.”
With his fitness building and confidence growing, Triskelion looks to be on the verge of breaking through – one to watch in the coming weeks.
Stay tuned for his next start – it could be the one that sees him back in the winner’s circle.
