It’s been a long time between wins for Triskelion – but his recent trial at Aquis Beaudesert in Queensland shows he’s back on track and enjoying his new direction.
Triskelion began his racing career in Sydney with a first‑up maiden win under Peter Snowden, showing early promise. However, across his next 12 starts, he was unable to place again – until now.
Recently transferred to Paul Schailler Racing in Queensland, Triskelion has been retrained as a sprinter – a move that’s already paying dividends. While his sire, Ocean Park, was known for strength over distance, it’s clear Triskelion has inherited more from his dam, Vernal, whose sprinting influence is shining through.
Under Paul’s guidance, Triskelion looks comfortable, confident, and happy in his work – and it showed in his latest trial win. He travelled beautifully throughout and went to the line strongly to win comfortably.

It’s exciting to see Triskelion beginning to realise his potential – and we can’t wait to see him return to the races in the coming weeks.
